The Kids Went Wild, The Kids Went Nuts:
My friend Søren stopped by with my CDs and the videos he'd promised me and there is some amazing stuff on those tapes. I saw five minutes of a Dinner For Five episode with Sarah Silverman, Kevin Pollak, Ron Livingston, and Rod Steiger and if you're a movie/television/stand-up buff like me this is heaven. I saw Robert Schimmel: Unprotected this morning and most of it was absolutely hysterical. It's very sex oriented, but from a marriage perspective, which is cool. So whatever free time I have over the next weeks will probably be spent watching all these shows. And when I'm not watching the videos I'll be listening to the CDs he brought me. I've been listening to We Have the Facts and We're Voting Yes by Death Cab for Cutie almost none stop, since I got it. It's just that good a record. Tillykke, tillykke. Omkring de tredive, det klinger godt, hva? ;-> Posted by: Peter on September 1, 2002 05:56 PMTak for tillykkerne! Omkring de tredive klinger omtrent ligesÃ¥ godt som "en løkke omkring halsen" eller "med en fod i graven". Posted by: John Fogde on September 1, 2002 06:23 PMTwenty-eight? And you still can't cook? What's wrong with you? Posted by: gene on September 2, 2002 03:07 AMThat's what people are asking. I think you can chalk it up to being lazy and indifferent about food. Maybe that's why I'm still so damn skinny. Posted by: John Fogde on September 2, 2002 06:12 AMMany happy returns from someone who wishes they were 28 again. Posted by: arseblogger on September 2, 2002 02:52 PMThanks! I have several friends, who still think I'm a kid, so that helps, when I feel like I'm ready for the retirement home. Posted by: John Fogde on September 2, 2002 03:12 PMhappy birthday! er... since i live on the other side of the world, maybe it should be Happy Belated Birthday! Posted by: amy on September 3, 2002 08:53 AMThank you very much! Posted by: John Fogde on September 3, 2002 09:25 AMPost a comment
