It's All In Your Head She Said:
I'm almost finished with my assignment in the kitchen I've mentioned earlier. I haven't really written a lot about it, because it's just boring and not really something I want to spend a lot of time thinking about. And it hasn't even been that terrible, so there's no fun in going nuts here about how much I hate it. But there is one thing that annoys me incredibly at work every day and that's this old guy who shows up at the crack of dawn every day and bothers people who are trying to work. The guy must be bored out of his mind to want to show up to an empty community facility every day around 7 and just walk around by himself hoping that there's something he can do or someone he can talk to. Wait just a second - you're not starting to feel sorry for him now, are you? Because I was at first, but after a week I wanted him to piss off and leave us alone. I just wanted him to go home and watch tv or read a book or something instead of being in the way and started annoying conversations. I actually missed some work (without missing it, if you know what I mean) last week, because I didn't feel so hot. So today I have a doctor's appointment to see what's wrong with me (which is why I'm home to write this instead of gutting fish or something). I had surgery about 6-7 years ago and I saw a doctor, when I was in for the draft. But I haven't been to a regular doctor since I fell of my bike, when I was 12, so it's a little weird. Obviously, I'm expecting it to be cancer or at least an ulcer, but maybe it's nothing (but it's probably something). I wanted to go to the doctor Thursday, but they didn't have time, so I had to wait until today. I feel a lot better now than I did a week ago (Friday I was actually well enough to sexually harrassed some poor girl at work), but I figured that since I had made the appointment I might as well go get checked up. And to celebrate that I'll finally get told how many weeks I have to live we'll go see Grandaddy tonight. I've seen them at Roskilde before where they were decent, but I'm really looking forward to seeing them in a club and hearing their new stuff. And I think there'll be a lot of familiar faces there, which will be cool. Posted by John Fogde at November 17, 2003 09:35 AM | TrackBack |
