Well, I made an atempt at jumping on the Harry Potter-bandwagon and watched the two first movies recently. But besides containing a few funny visual ideas, they were sooo boring. So I'll second your position there.

I haven't read the books, but saw the first movie when it came out. And although it wasn't terrible it just wasn't that interesting, either. So I couldn't be bothered seeing the second one and seeing a third movie about Poxy Potter just seems unbearable.
