I Got A Girl And Her Name Is Mary:

Here's some random stuff I've noticed lately:

Cool photos over at Roger Avary's.

Funniest review in a long time.

Weirdest referral in a long time.

Everything you always wanted to know about Huckapoo (but were afraid to ask):
Entry one, two, three, and four.

If you live in Denmark you might want to check out the Björk listening parties this weekend. I'll most likely be at the one in Aarhus.

The annual Festuge (party week) kicks off Friday, which means there'll be a lot of free shows downtown. I'll most likely check out Nephew, Tiger Tunes, and The Raveonettes at Univers and probably a few other shows as well.

And I'll definitely be at the Aarhus Rock Massacre, which my friends from Sway are putting on at Ridehuset Monday night. The lineup consists of The Defectors, Awedge, The Burning Primitive, Blunt, and Magnified Eye, so it should be a rockin' good time.

I don't know the first thing about hifi equipment, but I'm seriously considering getting these speakers.

I've been watching K Street lately and although it's very odd it's also quite entertaining. Besides I'd watch Mary McCormack in anything.

Is K Street being shown somewhere or do you have it on dvd? It didn't last more then a season, right? You are right about McCormack, although one don't get see too much of her these days.

K Street is on Swedish TV2 Monday nights. I stumbled over the first episode not knowing what it was and just kept watching. I think there are ten episodes, but I'm not sure.

I loved Murder One and was sure McCormack would break out as a huge star after Private Parts. But since then she's done some dodgy movies and I haven't seen her in anything lately. However, it looks like she's doing The West Wing now, which is great. And I did get to see her in London on stage a few years ago in Neil LaBute's Bash, which was awesome.

oops, my bad. I had gotten Mary confused with Catherine McCormack. So now I don't remember seeing the former in anything, wich is one more reason to tune in next monday...
